Exchange students
Exchange students are warmly welcome to Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences!
We offer:

Currently Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences participates in three student exchange programmes: Erasmus, HESP, and Nordplus. Erasmus students are admitted on the basis of cooperation agreements with universities and colleges in EU and EEA countries (see ViA Partner Universities); HESP student exchange programme allows students enrolled at higher education institutions in Central, Eastern, and South Eastern Europe, the former Soviet Union and Mongolia to apply for a study period of 5 months in Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences; Nordplus programme facilities exchange between partners in Nordplus EkoTekNord network. From 2009./2010. students wishing to pursue a programme in English are offered a range of courses during the Autumn semester which is the international semester at Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences. Students can continue their studies also in the Spring semester if they have acquired the Latvian language and wish to follow courses in Latvian. Latvian language courses are offered for all exchange students during the Autumn semester.
