The Celebrated Norwegian Polar Explorer BØrge Ousland's Visit to Valmiera
Valmiera District Council in cooperation with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Norway and Vidzeme University College is organising a meeting with the celebrated modern polar explorer BØrge Ousland who will give a presentation "Against All Odds" on the experience of his expeditions.

Vidzeme University College Will Administer the English Language Tests for Studies Abroad
On Friday, 17 October, Vidzeme University College (ViA) Language Study and Examination Centre staff members will have a training in London Tests of English (LTE) administration with Mark Couchman, Pearson Language Tests Manager for Central Europe.

Vidzeme University College students invite to a rendez-vous with Europe
On Saturday, 4 October, from 11 a.m. till 2 p.m. in the centre of Valmiera, in the square by the Hansa Wall, ViA Students' Union (ViASA) invites everybody to an activity "Rendez-vous with Europe". The aim of this event is to acquaint the local community with cultures of different nations and offer various activities.
